Does giving gift change expiry dates at all?

I have $120 in my GoPhone that is set to expire in one month and I don't need to use the service anymore as my Canadian provider has low enough roaming rates to use when I occasionally need communication while in the USA. I see that T-Mobile has a much better plan to hold customers when they spend at least $100....after every $10, the expiry is set 365 days from that activation which seems much more fair for those who don't use prepaid services that much.

Another option is if anyone needs extra GoPhone money, wants to help a HoFo user out, and has a paypal account I'd love to try to recoup the money I put into AT&T without losing "most" of it.

1. Yes .... If my GoPhone is about to expire and you give me $15, my expiration date is pushed out 30 days from the time of the gift.

4. I just followed an auction like this ... a SIM card (and account) with $81 on it sold for $72 on eBay. Maybe a "CraigsList" will help.

Well my best friend has a GoPhone account too. So what if we just kept on giving 15 dollars each every month??

I'm not sure what I'm missing here, but are you saying you can 'gift' the balance on your GoPhone account to another GoPhone account? How exactly are you doing this?

You cannot transfer GoPhone balances to another account. You can make contributions to charitable causes using your balance through text messages. Many GoPhone subscribers made contributions that way for Hurricane Katrina, the Haiti earthquake and the earthquakes and tsunamis in Japan. Here is one example:
