Proxy is incorrect. Should be:
proxy.mvno.tracfone.com
Leaving the proxy field blank also works (better for me)

Samsung Galaxy Nexus: 4.2.2 rooted with ST AT&T SIM & full Google Voice integration
thanks, but it still only shows EDGE.... speedtest.net result 550ms, 90 down 78 up
the phones supports HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 / 800 3G networks, and with the right APN it should have 3G with ST right? is there anything else i need to configure? they have an at&t tower 2 block away from me....
You might be connected to a T-mobile tower or the AT&T 1900mhz signal is poor.
What kind of phone? Why have you chosen gsm mode only?

Switch your network mode to 3G. Unless your phone is a TMO phone..

A better choice would be to use Automatic.

I have the HD7s and I can't get the MMS to work. I have internet though.
My APN setting options are:
APN
User Name
Password
Proxy Server/URL
Proxy Port
I do not have any of the MMS options like I had on my HTC Inspire 4G or Samsung Captivate. What do I need to type into those fields in order for this to work?
I haven't looked at the source, but I assume that it does. Maybe a "customer service rep" came up with the idea.
PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE RESPONDING.I HAVE CONTACTED STRAIGHT TALK 5 TIMES WITH NO SUCCESS...
have a problem and it sounds like i am not alone.Im using a Palm Centro smart phone previously used by Att/Cingular with the sim provided through Straight Talk Wireless.I have went over my APN settings and they are to a t configured the way Straight Talk told me to..I can access the internet just fine and i can send standard text text messages and recieve them and post text to my Facebook via 32665 (fbook) but i can not send nor receive any pictures in any form and I can not download any media. It is really erking me.I have searched the specs on the Palm Centro and everything looks great..I do not think there is something wrong with my phone since i hear so many people complaining about the same thing being not getting or recieving MMS messages. When I talked to straight talk earier they said my sim was not activated and I said Bull since I have been talking on it and in only 2 weeks in the month so I said screw it since if i gave him my sim number it would maybe disactivate the sim and let me tell you since I have been through it ONCE YOU DISACTIVATE A BYOP (BRING YOUR OWN PHONE)SIM IT CAN NOT BE REACTIVATED AND YOU HAVE TO ORDER A NEW ONE TRUST ME I HAVE BEEN TROUGH IT ..CAN ANYONE SUGGEST A FIX TO THIS I KNOW ITS NOT JUST ME(sorry copyed and pasted)
i tried it in my phone (motorola milestone) and everything worked fine, when i used the pantech pursuit which i was setting up for my mother in law it still wont access web or do picture mail......i really need to get this fixed, she was thinking about returning the phone and getting a motorola karma, does anyone have any experience with this phone? on straight talk? screen shot of apn set up?
