I don't want to pay extra for Caller ID and Voicemail since my bill is already ~$60. I've been looking for other options and I think I may have found something that might work.
For Voicemail, this definitely works. I've made an account with Dell Voice and setup the Voice Mail so that it goes to VM after 1 ring. On Rogers One Number, I've set it up so that if my call goes unanswered, it forwards to my Dell Voice number.
With this setup, if I don't pickup the phone it will ring once and then go to my Dell Voice VM, which I can either check on the phone or on any computer. This works greatWhat's better? When the call gets forwarded to Dell Voice, it also reveals the Caller ID of the person calling, so when I get a missed call I will know exactly who called me

Another thing I was exploring was the "Ring My Numbers" under Rogers One Number. I set that up so that it rings my Dell Voice number at the same time. When I tried this, the Dell Voice app would pop up first with the persons Name and Caller ID, and then the phone app would pop up with the call. However, this causes the phone app to go wonky and it just doesn't work well together.
So basically the setup with Voicemail works great because it enables you to get Voice Mail and also enables you to find out who called you after a missed call.
Does anyone know of another free VoIP provider other than Dell Voice that offers free Caller ID and Voicemail? I'm trying to see if there's a way to get both Caller ID and Voicemail this way. Right now, it's only possible to get one or the other with the Dell Voice but the other problem is that it makes the phone app crash when both are ringing (and theres only about 1 second after the Dell Voice app pops up before the phones app pops up, so it's not really good for Caller ID unless you're staring at your phone when it rings).
