Sounds like a lawsuit in the making. Why brand anything with "i"? Or, Miri? Copyright judges may well have a problem with this.
Samsung's marketing dept. needs a bit of schooling. Ugh.

Breaking news: Samsung rebranding Galaxy: Samsung Galaxy S III to be known as the iSmartPhone 5s
Buoyed by their recent victories in their on-going patent battle with Apple, Samsung has decided to raise the stakes by rebranding their Galaxy series. Going forward their Galaxy smartphones will be known as “iSmartphone”, starting with the unreleased Samsung Galaxy S III which will be known as the ‘Samsung iSmartphone 5s’.
Other features are includes a 5” 1080p Cornea display, Samsung S6 quad core processor and a voice assistant called ‘Miri’.
Samsung reportedly wants to ‘out-Apple’ Apple. What’s next? The Samsung iTab? I’ll post more information as I get it.

Yea, that one too. Jeez, get a little more original.
*note to Howard: dude, your photo skills need to be raised for that shot above!![]()
lol i thought that was fishy April Fools!!!
I know it is April Fool's Day, but this was so plausible that I had to really think about it for a second. Hahahaha, nicely done.
hmm, dunno about this article seems a little unbelievable. I have been keeping up with the pending release of the S3 and this is the first I've heard about this, it seems left field for them to up and change a solid brand (galaxy). and now a voice assistant called ‘Miri’.
That said...I do find it very interested that the domain name miri.com is registered by a Korean company however it has been registered since 2001 and there is no way to find out the history of the name.
Things change

iPhones are part Samsung and part SuicideConn, so I see a resemblance.
lame.
I found Toshiba's Shape tablets more believable.
I cracked & signed up with Telus. I couldnt resist the Free Phone, $300 airtime credit, and EPP ($20+tax : 350mins, unlimited early evngs /wknds, cd, vm, unlimited NA txts, NO SAFS or 911) With the $300 credit its like having a free year of phone service.
