^Probably because the original Optimus line was so popular. Its a bit surprising that LG didn't roll it out more extensively, although as a follow up the M+ seems to have come a bit too late.

The iPhone 4s is causing financial problems for Sprint. I don't want Metro to get the iPhone. Apple demands too much and the carriers have to make it up in other ways like overpriced data plans, nickel and diming various fees...
There are top of the line Androids that are as good as or better than an iPhone.

Apple knows that all they have to do is put a faster processor in the phone and a little bit better screen each year and label it the iphone 4,5,6,7,8,9 etc. and the fanboys will run out and buy it no matter what!

Exactly that is why I don't like apple products the beauty of android is for the masses I mean you can have a regular non tech savy person play with a low end android and have another own a galaxy s2 type of phone even though android has many devices it appeals for all kinds of pockets and that is something apple does not offer
