HTC Sensation 4g:

1. I want to have it on WI-FI or Mobile Network all the time so I have clear access to incoming mail/MSN replies as they come to me. However last time I did this I discovered over 200 megs in 1 day was used! With a 1 GIG account, I would be using all that in less than a WEEK!!

I talked to others and they say I should not be using more than 100megs a month in this case. They feel that perhaps the phone was automatically downloading UPDATES (some can be 50 megs each at times) so I am wondering where do I set these automatic updates to NO?

2. I see you can set customize RINGTONES for each phone Profile, but where do you set custom TXT TONES for each profile? I'd like to be able to set a different tone for when a specific person TXT's me other than the default.

3. If I set my primary message account to also view on my phone, will it effect receiving it on my computer?

My primary email address has always been received and sent thru my computer when I boot the computer up and go to Outlook Express. It would be nice to set up the email address so I can view/send from my phone but I STILL want to receive them like normally when I turn on the computer.

I don't want to have it not send to my computer because it was already read from my phone.

1-Accounts and Sync. As for the emails themselves depending on the app you are using you can set limits in the settings for how much gets downloaded to the phone.
2-Never tried that. Will have to get back to you on that.
3-No it will not effect you receiving it on your computer. It still depends on the email app you are using however the phone is actually receiving a copy of the email.
