    iPhone APN settings

Hi all, I just bought a sim card from Straight talk and the talk and text work fine but the data won't work. I have an AT&T iphone 4 version 5.1, baseband 04.12.01. It is not unlocked nor jailbroken. I have tried every apn changer known to man and and I can't get it to work. I tried changing the apn before my old number was fully transfered over to my iphone, could this be why? Can anyone help me! I'm desperate. I've seen people say they have called straight talk and told them that their texting was not working and that fixed it, do you think I should do that or does anyone know a different way? Thanks I truly appreciate it!

@andman433, Yeah I tried that in the beginning and nothing worked so I just emailed them and told them that my sim had to be provisioned and they asked me what settings were in my new apn and I jut told then the ones from the activation packet and they replied saying try had made changes to my account and that I should reboot my phone. I did and it works now! I hope I can help others with this because I know it drove me crazy! @ydkjman you have to jailbreak if you want mms this is the only way to get it as of right now! Hope I helped! An thanks guys!

I HAVE CONTACTED STRAIGHT TALK 5 TIMES WITH NO SUCCESS...
have a problem and it sounds like i am not alone.Im using a Palm Centro smart phone previously used by Att/Cingular with the sim provided through Straight Talk Wireless.I have went over my APN settings and they are to a t configured the way Straight Talk told me to..I can access the internet just fine and i can send standard text text messages and recieve them and post text to my Facebook via 32665 (fbook) but i can not send nor receive any pictures in any form and I can not download any media. It is really erking me.I have searched the specs on the Palm Centro and everything looks great..I do not think there is something wrong with my phone since i hear so many people complaining about the same thing being not getting or recieving MMS messages. When I talked to straight talk earier they said my sim was not activated and I said Bull since I have been talking on it and in only 2 weeks in the month so I said screw it since if i gave him my sim number it would maybe disactivate the sim and let me tell you since I have been through it ONCE YOU DISACTIVATE A BYOP (BRING YOUR OWN PHONE)SIM IT CAN NOT BE REACTIVATED AND YOU HAVE TO ORDER A NEW ONE TRUST ME I HAVE BEEN TROUGH IT ..CAN ANYONE SUGGEST A FIX TO THIS I KNOW ITS NOT JUST ME(sorry copyed and pasted from a post ive made)
