    No phones should have a non replaceable battery. This is why I dislike the iphone so much. Even if it's a Razr MAXX with tons of power, it should still be able to come out of there without wrecking the device. Cmon!

    Problem is there is no network to run your phone on.. LAWL. NO LTE network, NO 1x advanced network for HD Voice.

    User replaceable batteries are going to make a comeback about the same time external antennas do.

    They are both technically better solutions that have been abandoned for other reasons.

    What's the procedure for when after a year or so, the battery no longer holds the charge (like a normal battery would do)? You have to do a TEP exchange....get a refurb...pay $200 deductible?

    Buy one on eBay for $10, take the phone apart and change it in under 15 minutes just like you do for an iPhone today.
