The recording doesn't take in consideration that you have a long distance plan. When it comes to billing, you won't be charged.

Is that just standard procedure that doesn't mean anything or what? I better not be billed Canadian long distance on a Canada-wide plan! lol. When I call a Guelph number I don't get warned that the call may be long distance. Why is le Quebec any different? Did Quebec seperate from Canada recently or something? I was calling an authorized service centre for Samsung that is based in St-Laurent, QC.

I bet you did not put the 1- at the start.

It is very annoying that they don't turn that off. When I don't insert the +1 before the number called I get the same message time and again, both in English and French, although I have nation wide plan since I've been a Koodo customer. I've never been charged. But the waste of time is really annoying.
It happens to me when I call someone back who had sent me a text message. For some reason, the leading "1" is missing from text messages, so I either have to type the number in manually or endure this pointless message.
"Customer focused" is different, eh.
Just add 1 and you dont get this msg

I know. But incoming text messages don't have the 1, so if I click on "call back" I get this endless, pointless litany.
