Well sprint is getting the nexus. Although the nexus was a very expected device during 2011 it wasnt that big. In my opinion it was a dissapointment. What i truly want is a HTC one high end device to land on metro.

wait, or were you talking about the HTC One X that has a quad core + 12-core gpu with 4.7" screen? That would be pretty awesome.
HTC One V is going to be trash, unless it's going to be $129.

Eventually, if any HTC quality smartphone doesn't land on metropcs, it will via flashed. I'm currently using Samsung S2 Epic 4g on metro. I disagree with the opinion on how having a high end phone is a waste on metro. Being rooted, I managed to keep my phone having a decent connection with just $40. We all know we can't compare metro with a carrier like Sprint. But I am very satisfied with not having a contract, being throttled, roaming charges, able to teether...all for $40 with tax. For me, it's like having a BMW and driving it around the nice neighborhood at my pace, paid for.
Does it have 4G access though? I called the HTC One V trash because it's a good device that will have to use slow data. Having a nice phone with slow data is like having a BMW but you can only drive around the 25mph block. I'd rather have an Accord that I can drive on the internet freeway.
If there's a way to get other 4G devices on metro's network and use 4G access, that would be awesome. I really really REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want the Samsung Note.
Having a high end phone on metro ''flashed'' is a waste. Because the speeds are slow. Lets say the galaxy note its a good phone but if it was flashed to metro i would be a waste. On tmobile the note is a
waste. Now if the note came to metro with 4G it wouldnt be a waste. What metro should do is just spend some money on at least one high end phone. Like the htc one x

No 4g. But what I used the smartphone; news reading, forums, facebook, maps, reviews...it's fast enough. At home, I home, 6mpbs wifi. I think I would need 4g if I am constant downloading torrents, music or movies...but I used my laptop for that. I think if you look at 4g vs 3g, it is a matter of choice or if you can afford it. There are many people (including my friends & family) who have 4g, but don't use it because they don't want pay more, save battery or don't need it. Now, if I could get 4g, would I use it? If it is truly unlimited (with no throttling)...yes. Would I need it? No. I would have to turn it off to save battery, I would have to turn of 4g.
Amazingly enough, with Metro's 3g, I can watch netflix or youtube, at least in my area. So my BMW is fast enough for my use.
I use the 3G Boost and my speeds are 750kbps - 1200kbps and i only pay $50 and its unlimited. plus some people that have 4G say they get 1.5mbps which is 300kbps more than me with 3G so it doesnt make a difference to me.
Interesting and all but If mero gets the one x it would using a Qualcomm snapdragon S4 processor, which is a dual core processor, yet is more powerful than the tegra 3 quad core processor even though it has 12 core gpu, which unless your playing games all the time it won't make much of a difference.
I think he's talking about the service boostmobile, and that he gets such speeds on their 3g.
And because he gets such speeds, metro's 4g, with which some get only about 1.5 mb, is not worth switching over for.
