i agree with the link being taken down. you're not really helping anyone other than some tight <bleep> out there who is such a tight <bleep> that they won't fork out a measly 60p !!!!. crikey, it's less than the price of a bag of crisps!
it's also the principle of depriving the devs of their rightful money. ravio may not be short of a bob or 2, but in many cases the dev is just developing the app in their spare time, so it's also the principle of helping devs where we can, as the above poster has said

in many cases, there are apps in the market that are free but which also have a donate version. even though there is no difference, i will quite happily pay a quid or 2 just to support the dev for a product that i enjoy using
