Having worked at tech support at a VZW call center last year, we were required to upgrade at least 5 lines a month. We were allowed to push back the upgrade date up to 30 days, barring the iPhone. I'm sure someone there can get you upgraded now, at least to a non-iPhone. Give it a try.

Yeah Apple doesn't allow any sort of haggling of the price of an iPhone, including early upgrades. Otherwise it can be pushed a month or so. If you're thinking of going from a basic phone to a smartphone you are particularly golden.

CMO can do upgrades within 30 days, except for iphones You're not that far away from the upgrade. Just wait it out. Enjoy the iphone.

The Rezound was $49.99 through 4/9. It's back at $199.99 today, which is a bummer. I have an upgrade on 4/23 and really want the Rezound, but don't want to pay $200+ for a phone. I paid $300 for the Droid 2 when it came out and that was a mistake.
