Samsung Sidekick 4G Problems!!

I've had my Sidekick 4G for less than 3 months, and it's been freezing when I go to my gallery, the touch is very unresponsive at times, and it shuts off & restarts at least 5 times a week! Has anyone else had these problems?

Yes. A quick bing or google search will show that a legion of people have had them. My wife had this phone and it was by far, the worst, most poorly implemented and buggiest software I have ever seen on a phone. What you are describing is what hers did all the time. Two battery pulls a day makes your sanity go away and in the 8 months she owned the phone, there was not a day that went by that did not require battery pulls because it froze and the screen locked. Almost always when trying to unlock the phone for a call or the gallery. This should have been a grand slam for samsung - a galaxy s class phone already a year old with a slightly modified touchwiz. Instead it highlighted every weakness in samsung and touchwiz. Thankfully, t-mobile sent a mytouch 4g slide as a replacement when we complained about how awful it was.

If you have not upgraded the thing to the latest software, go to samsungs website and download kies mini and load the latest software. It does make it a little more stable for what it's worth but does not fix it.
