How's so-03d battery life?

I want to buy one as gift. I want to know real life battery life. She won't use gps or 3g data

Isn't it better just to buy the international Sony XPERIA S? Or does the SO-03D has some cool Japanese feature that you need?

I think this one has infra red and is waterproof and dust proof with IPX5/7 certification. Maybe that's why he wants it.

This phone has a 1840 mAh battery, whereas the xperia S has a 1750 mAh one. Doesn't look like it would make a lot of difference in terms of performance, but if he can get the SO-03D for a similar price than the Xperia S, I think it would be a great deal (you get the same phone but waterproof and a slightly bigger battery). Plus this phone is quad band and has 3G UMTS 2100 AND 900, so maybe he can have 3G if he wants to.
However, I've just checked out ebay, and there is a 200 dollars difference between this and the Xperia S so I think it doesn't worth it ... unless you really need the waterproof feature

No I am looking for a pink phone. I can get it for same as or cheaper than Xperia S.
So you are saying I should expect same battery life as Xperia S?

I am telling you that the NUMBERS indicate that the battery life between that phone and the Xperia S SHOULD be similar. However, I would better wait here (or ask in another forum) so that owners of the SO-03D can tell their experiences with the phone before buying anything.
