Good software for converting videos (DVD) for use on iPhone?

I didn’t find a better place to put this in, so here goes...

I am wondering can anyone suggest a good program for converting DVD's etc... to an iphone compatible video format. I know Handbrake already, but haven’t ever used it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

ive tried macx, its ok. is there something else?
