I tried google translator but, as I said, it sucks. All I understood was that someone is planning to do a new ROM for the 007SH which would, somehow, software-unlock it .... and I'm not even sure if I understood that correctly (probably not xD). Also, that the market of the 007SH is very tiny and that's why not many people do or research about unlocking this phone.

Well after going to a Docomo shop last night i tend to think that they are the less helpful bunch. Charge 3150 to put a code into my phone to unlock it, then when i tell them i have heard stories of the unlock being unsuccessful unless you make a call from a Docomo sim card after unlocking it, she told me "oh we arent told about that". Even after asking a few times she just said "if it doesnt work, its probably just that country's sim card." Totally unwilling to help in any way other than putting that code in.
Even acted like she was doing me a huge favour by putting in a micro SD card that i had just bought.
And yes i was speaking in Japanese, not broken or impolite Japanese either.

Because he has successfully added Chinese menu into SH12C/N04C's setting, made those phone have a Chinesization Version.
But the man has not got a 007sh yet.
According to his thought, the method how KOKO unlock 007sh as following
1.root
2.got the img file from 007sh
3.modify some network parameter in the img file
4.reload this revised img file back to 007sh
If the man could unlock 007sh,they hope he could Chinesize 007sh.

I don't understand, what is the relation between unlocking the phone and adding a new language? You mentioned he could add chinese to that phone (SH12C or N04C), but it wasn't clear to me if he also unlocked it or not

As I had said, the guy just has the possibility to unlock 007sh.
The method he plan to try is also listed.
I do not know if he could successfully unlock 007sh in the end.
I told you the guy made Chinesization for SH12C N04C is to prove he maybe have such a ability.

Adding Chinese input to 007SH or any other Japanese phone is a huge hit if you're a re-seller in that region. To everyone else it's probably useless. To me it's EXTREMELY useful.
For example in the early days when 920SH was a big hit....being able to input chinese on the handsets was a huge thing that actually made it very good for business for the sellers~~~
Below is an example when 920SH's multimedia was first cracked and then sellers that figured out how to add chinese to it made it a huge deal and the audience in the market of these devices thought it was a huge deal.

I just registered since I have a 007SH and want to unlock it and when I saw that I tried it but...
Where could be this img file??
I rooted my phone and searched but I found nothing like that.
By the way, if you live in Japan, Softbank told me that IF I had a Softbank USIM they could unlock me my phone with no problem.
So you jsut have to take a プラン at Softbank (I saw that there is one Prepaid wich price is of 0円 if you do nothing (no call etc)).
But since I'm poor, I can't go to Japan and so I can only use my cellphone as a camera & video game player...
Did someone found a way to SIM unlock the 007SH?
Why yes, that is a bag phone
When softbank said they will unlock the phone for you, they meant they will allow you to use it WITHOUT a sim (normally without a sim you get into a screen saying "no sim" and you can do nothing else). They will never unlock it for use with other sims - believe me i have multiple plans with them, and they wont do it.
Also, Kokos has previously said he doesnt root the phones; his work on this was done before the Japanese guys had full access to the phone.

Tokyo_Dom is correct. Softbank do not unlock any phones.
