    scammed by tmobile retention rep - 100% lie in my face

    I have never been scammed by such a big "reputable" company until today.

    I spoke to retention and agreed on the following
    • Monthly plan decrease of $10/month
    • Additional $10/month discount for 24months for being preferred customer
    • Add $10/month simple data plans on 2 lines
    • The 2 lines above that had data plans added get 24 month contract extension

    In reality this is what happened
    • Never got the $10/month discount for 24months for being preferred customer
    • 1 $10/month simple data added and 2 $20/month android plans added, so in total 3 lines had data changed
    • All lines receieved 24 month contract extension


    Wow Tmobile, this is pathetic. I was lied to right in my face. I have rep ID and reference call # and everything. Just sent an email to contractreview@t-mobile.com but I've heard bad things about contract review and how slow it is. Please advise on how I can get this fixed ASAP, please please please help me

    One thing which often helps is to pay for things by credit card (or debit card) then even if someone is cheating you you have an advocate.

    Of course, you always want to get a written copy (includes faxed) of what they have done at that moment. He said / she said is not the best way to resolve such an issue days or weeks later.

    So what did they say when you called them to alert them of the problem? Please tell me you called before complaining on a forum cause we can't do anything except feel sorry for you.

    I got the $10/mo loyalty credit added to my own plan and three others. Two of the four showed up no problem (stacked with a corp discount too!) and the other two were just added so I'll have to look at their bills.

    Really though, just call them. I've had BIG mistakes like a contract being renewed when it wasn't supposed to be and after some digging on their end they reversed it no problem.

    Did you get a bill yet? Or are you just looking online? If you're looking at your monthly fee online, it is always wrong. Mine says i pay $174/month. It's said that for a year now, but when I get my bill it is always $116.

    i've called multiple times but they all say they can't do anything about the contract extension as that's handled by the contract dispute department. everyone i have talked to recommend me just wait to i hear back from them

    Tmobile sounds horrible nowadays. Such a shame they've gone downhill. The used to have the best customer service.

    After being on call for 2 hours on a Saturday morning with 4 pple this is what we've come to...

    1. The contract extension can only be fixed by the contract dispute department, so my only option is to wait
    2. Melissa, the stupid rep that messed this up in the first place, upgraded the wrong line. She upgraded the line with my preferred web plan so my data increased from $5/month to $20/month. They said the only way to fix this is to return my phone (the one they sent out with the upgrade) and call back so that will take 2 weeks

    Pretty much, waiting game from here for 2 weeks. This sucks so much

    That sucks they have played it like that to me too, and we call to fix the problems and they never do.

    Update us on how everything works out Babooza69. It sucks when a rep accidentally (or intentionally) messes up our accounts and then we get stuck with the hassle and headache of calling back and escalating our concern. I've been there and I feel for you. It's the most infuriating feeling in the world.

    UPDATE - everything has gotten fixed except all of my lines are still in contract. contract review emailed me back basically saying "too bad". i replied back and told them to listen to the call because i was honestly directly decieved and lied to by me rep, but i doubt it's going to be fixed

    tmobile - i am much disappointed
