Want a suprise? It still hasn't change, we still say Indirect are stealing your money if payment doesn't go through and Indirect are saying random things back to the customers its a back and forth volley of hell. The business model at this point does not support the expansion. TMOBILE is struggling to expand so what makes Cricket any different at least TMOBILE has a foundation, although sh**tty its still better. MVNOs like Ting, Republic Wireless, PagePlus are better than Cricket at this junction. The only difference is that customers have a point of contact to scream and yell.

the scary part about this is that you don't see those guys in leadership buying any or using their stock options to acquire more. It just proves my point in the fact that the leadership has no faith in their own company and expect or want Leap/Cricket to fail.
I really want to pick apart that email Doug sent to everyone and post that sad attempt at employee brainwashing bull**** that he sent to all the CSR's. Not point in lying now when your company is toast and the world market knows it now.
The stock is dropping like 20 cents a day now. Seems like nobody trusts them, so it wont be long now....
Currently at 5.16
Whats crazy is that most investment sites are calling for a spectrum auction to save them.
I think there is a very high possibility that they may sell off the entire wireless network and become a full blown Sprint MVNO, Existing only as a box on a shelf from that point forward.
Selling your car to pay for gas and a rental sounds like a really good idea to someone just living for the moment. Too bad after a while you end up walking after the money runs dry.
I think this my be the plan based on the information from the power point slides and may be a cold and calculated move by the leadership to make it an even more top heavy company. That may also be why Mark Rachesky hasn't sold his 29% yet.
This explains the closing of stores and admin offices as they wont be required for an mvno.

They'll have no choice but to become an MVNO when Sprint comes to collect forthe network roaming agreement. The only way they could pay for it would be to sell off their spectrum as you've suggested. What good would that do though? They'd be killing future growth to pay today's bills. They'll work to make this a managed liquidation and not a fire sale. It's too bad because I have friends that were screwed bytia company and still have friends that work there that will be in a bad place when this all goes south.
I'm sorry this company has NEVER turned a profit since they emerged from bankruptcy in 2005.........
I honestly think it will be a fire sale once people realize how jacked up the management is and start unloading the stock tomorrow. If Doug doesn't tell the truth I have a feeling he will regret his actions dearly as things slowly wind down.
Based on the report below I would say they plan on killing off all the unlimited late summer as well. That wont fly at all...... Doug really needs to lay off of the cocaine and rethink his actions.

Both Leap and Metro need to become MVNOs of Sprint. At least let Sprint host their spectrum for them. There's no sense in trying to deploy your own network when Sprint can do it for you.
Actually they have never turned a profit at all. Ever, if you throw out the year they emerged from bankruptcy in 2005. That year shouldn't count anyway since they simply wiped away all their debt. How a company can exist for more than a decade and continually lose money is beyond me. The current CEO is directly responsible for every penny lost since 2005. What a joke.
So essentially Leap/Cricket is a investment ponzi/pyramid scheme and people are stupid and continue investing in them. The only reason they exist today is riding on the back of the future financiers of the multiplying debt. I really hope this thread gets the attention of stock reporters so they can warn the future investors to stay away...
Doug is screwing even more by upping his pay despite the current state of operations.
Doug Hutcheson/Bernard Madoff, Whats the difference....
I recall that last year the investors wanted to take over on a vote, but Doug urged not too cause due to the difference perspective of how things would run. I am wondering now the only reason he wanted to be against it is because a) didn't want to loose is golden goose and b) forced to be let go. I forgot who it was trying to get voting powers in. Unfortunately, all the lemmings drank the kool-aid and went for Doug :T ..........
STOCK STATUS CONVERTED TO JUNK AND SELL STATUS...
The Junk Status I made up the "SELL" is actually every ones status on the financial market...
Its @ 5.14 eeekk
How low can it go!

No, that was Doug essentially saying that he would scuttle whats left of the company and leave them with nothing if they ever attempted to take any form of power from him. The man knows what he is doing and has the board by their nuts somehow. That's the only reason I could see a crook like him lasting. The only thing I could think of is him threatening them by saying he would release information on company activities that were of a serious financially criminal nature. E.G. Tax fraud, embezzlement, kickbacks, ETC that would tie to certain board members.
But I'm calling the board out on this one......
You all are stupid by letting this happen and should see the signs of a charlatan. Ditch that tool before he walks away with your money. If they don't oust Doug soon they will have nothing to save.
