Only way to flash is by changing the meid to a donors meid which can only be used on one account, that is very sketchy.

I'm not sure if I can ask this here, if not feel free to close my thread...
I was bidding on a sprint phone flashed to boost, I inquired about the donor phone and was told by the seller that he has a special way of re using the donor..
this sounds sketchy and I'm thinking I'm probably up a creek. Has any one ever heard of this and what's the trade off of issue using a flashed, phone w/I it's donor?
Thanks

Realistically, if you buy a flashed phone you should also be given the donor. Now, there are some phones where it is possible that the seller could swap MEIDs round-robin and then resell the donor as flashed to MetroPCS, Page Plus or Cricket. You have to trust that the seller isn't doing something stupid with the donors - like just writing a Verizon PRL, calling it "flashed to Page Plus" and hoping it won't come back to haunt him.
The big thing to remember is, regardless of whether or not you get the donor, the seller can keep a copy of all the information needed to clone your phone again.
Don't buy it unless it includes the donor. Otherwise it can be a legal issue. If you own both devices, it's no problem. BUT, if you don't, then it could only spell trouble.
Even if the donor is broken or just the motherboard, as long as you have the physical hardware it was flashed from.
Luckily I ended up not winning it, I think I'm going to end up buying another boost phone or flashing one myself.
Thanks for the replies!!
