Woooooooo! Going from TELUS'/Koodo's self-serve to Bell's was like "you've got to be kidding me" moment.

EDIT: Also, add-ons can be changed as well. However, unless I'm not looking properly, I can't see the option to change phone/sim

Price plan changes?!? Will it go into effect right away or on the bill cycle day when done on the self serve site? If it goes in effect right away does it explain proration? I can see a lot of confused customers if they're able to change their plan on the fly through the website.

eCare price plan changes are done at bill cycle to prevent proration and lost revenue.

Not inconvenient at all. The vast majority of cell phone customers do not understand the concept of proration and will always get effed over when they make price plan changes in the middle of the bill cycle.

Bell must have screwed up the prepaid bell.ca information as all three of our phones now show:

The information you're looking for is currently unavailable. Please try again later. We’re sorry for the inconvenience. (Error: 2020900000)

Sweet it was saying there were no other plans available for me but now I see other plans. One weak bit is that I thought I could review the whole thing at the end but it says when clicking continue after selecting a rate plan that "The rate plan you are removing is no longer offered. If you continue, you will lose it permanently."

Now if it just talking about my Talk & More 40 then good riddance I actually want to switch that to Fab 10 35 (which has unlimited 10 nationwide vs 5 + 6pm vs 9pm + unlimited text over the older plan for $5 less!), but if it is talking about my 6GB data then we're going to have a problem. Looks like I might still have to get my *** on the phone one of these days lol.

I only have prepaid plans and can't seem to log into Self Serve since the upgrade.

If I have the Bell prepaid phone number, can I reload $100 (good for one year) at a Bell Store? TIA.

    EDIT:

Finally, the site is back up and running.
