I think they should since AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile all offer it. Verizon really needs to join the other carriers and offer it as well.

If vz offered it I most likely wouldn't have to keep my att prepaid with unlimited pay by the day as a backup for the wife to bump her gums for hours on end.

I will admit phone selection had a little to do with my choice though, T-Mobile really wasn't that much cheaper than Verizon or AT&T but T-Mobile really didn't really have a phone that stuck out at me. In addition T-Mobile's slower data network here made me think its worth it to pay a bit more and switch to AT&T for more of a phone I want and faster data. As I said I almost went with Verizon because they have great coverage in my area and LTE is super fast but my friends are spread across carriers so the Unlimited Calling to Any Mobile on AT&T was my deciding factor in the end for AT&T.
Right now, Verizon has better Android phones, AT&T has the better iPhone.

I probably wouldn't choose a carrier based on phone unless they really were that similar in performance.
I usually support government regulation, but It is unfortunate that the government over-regulated and killed the AT&T/ T-Mobile Merger
The best explanation of the pricing nutiness in the industry.
Why Sprint and T-Mo will always suck.
The only way to end the pricing insanity is to eliminate contracts and subsidies.
I want Wifi calling on AT&T.
If you text while driving, you're an idiot. End of story.

VZW having better Android phones is an urban legend.

Galaxy S2, SkyRocket, Note, and now the HTC 1X

I don't blame your wife, VZW phones sound like people are talking through a sweater.
You know times have changed, when the iPhone isn't the top dog anymore.

    DROID 2 Global
    DROID BIONIC
GNex subsidized, HTC Rezound, DROID RAZR
    DROID 4, DROID RAZR MAXX

DROID RAZR MAXX is the best Android phone in the US right now. DROID 4 is the best keyboarded phone.

And what does AT&T have? Junk, junk, more junk. AT&T does have the most Android phones of any carrier, they just all suck.

lol the only thing that makes the MAXX special is the battery. The screen is not that great and the OS looks like ugly crap and the camera is meh.

The other motorolas are not interesting.

    HTC is bloated sense.

    LTE Nexus is interesting.

Just a little update on my first day experience with this phone. The battery is holding out well I've used quite a bit of data on it and a little phone use and I still have a decent amount of charge left by now my old HTC EVO 4G that I had on Sprint a short time back would have been dead. Audio quality is great on it, the phone is much more clear and natural sounding than my HTC Wilddire S on T-Mobile that I just came from. The phone is very quick and responsive and the screen is bright and clear, I'm surprised on how well I can see this phone even in direct sunlight. The keyboard is roomy and I can type on it much quicker and more accurately.

Memory is NO longer a problem on this phone as it was with my HTC Wildfire S, I've already installed quite a few apps on the phone using the internal memory completely and I have tons of space left plus my SD card option which I'm not using yet. RF on the phone seems to be excellent although I haven't traveled much yet but at work where every cell issues picking up a signal I noticed this phone picking up a useable data signal where almost every other phone carrier and phone fails including Verizon and that really impressed me!

Data speeds are fairly impressive but it's nothing like the LTE speeds I've seen here from Verizon users but it is much faster than T-Mobile's 3G network here and absoultely blows my Sprint data experience here out of the water. HSPA+ seems to be pretty solid here on data speeds. I've done a few tests at home and on the road near me with results I'm happy with. I've been getting downloads in the 4-6 Mbps range and uploads averaging 900 kbps - 1 Mbps range. I got a bit above 6 Mbps at work in my break room which it seems as though this phone gets a better signal in my break room than T-Mobile gets. Also at work on T-Mobile in that same spot I'd get around 500 Kbps in speed tests and in that same spot AT&T comes in at a little over 6 Mbps! I was very happy with that and I could definately tell a huge difference in checking my facebook in that spot coming from T-Mobile to AT&T.

So far so good!!! Hope it stays that way but as of yet I'm impressed.

If you're getting those data speeds that's more than enough to do a lot of applications.

I have 1 VZW line and average 12-15 down. You would think that since VZW LTE is 2X as fast as HSPA+ that you would notice a significant difference in real world use, but I honestly can't. Ok so VZW LTE loads a video 1 second faster.

So far I can definately tell a difference from T-Mobile to AT&T. I usually got anywhere from 700 Kbps to 1.5 Mbps download on T-Mobile while on AT&T I'm seeing an average of 4-6 Mbps. To be fair I didn't have an HSPA+ phone on T-Mobile but they don't have HSPA+ up in this market so it shouldn't make a difference. In fact I still hit some 2G spots here with T-Mobile in some decent sized areas where every other carrier has at least 3G here. Sprint was even worse when I had it anywhere from 200-500 Kbps and if I had a good solid spot and day I'd occasionally hit 700.
