Any price over $255 is a fail IMO. They have to at least match Rogers.

Why do they have to match Rogers?

The only advantage of buying with Wind is the Windtab.

If it's $255 or $330, it doesn't make any difference, you might as well buy from Rogers in either case.

That's not true at all. If you buy from Rogers then you have to pay $30 for the unlock, and potentially $25 for a SIM, so there's an extra $55 right there. If Wind prices it at $299 then it's essentially the same price.

If you buy from rogers the SIM is included, just like with WIND.

while unlock code is around $20 now and maybe $10 during some online promotion, also it also costs $10 from wind to unlock your wind lumia 710.

and we don't know if wind will charge customers micro sim card fee since lumia 710 only takes micro sim card.

Because it was WIND that lead us to believe they wouldn't gouge us on the hardware. Especially when WIND Tab's are only another means to acquiring hardwares, not special rate plans. Pay Before offers the same and puts the power in the consumer hands.

Not exactly, unlocking is around $15-$20 for the Rogers one, so you're looking at a real price from Rogers around $270. Wind offers the Tab too, so they beat Rogers that way too.
The word 'Pentaband' means '5 Bands', from the Greek word 'pente' meaning '5'. For a phone to be pentaband it has to support 5 bands. If the phone has AWS support, it doesn't automatically mean that it is pentaband. The reason Wind and Mobilicity users like pentaband phones is because the reverse is true. We're not the only ones who like pentaband phones though, so please stop referring to phones that work on Wind and Mobilicity as pentaband. It causes unnecessary cofusion.

After buying the N900, and the experiences I've had with it and Nokia Canada, I'll never buy anything Nokia.

That's probably Rogers' fault. The N95 8GB never got an official update either, but using debranding you could actually get the FW updates.

I am also really disappointed with Nokia's Customer service. I am fed up having to deal with the Philipines when I'm in Canada and they cant even answer my questions. I was told by Wind that Nokia 500 would get the "Belle" update and now I find out that we wont get it. Nokia also told me that we were getting it. It's just awful.

The N900 was never available in Canada, so that likely contributed to your problems dealing with the N900. The Lumia 710 wouldn't produce quite as bad an experience, although I admit I don't have anything good to say about Nokia Canada either.
