It's a safe bet that a few people will give it a try knowing how solid the OV was.
AFAIK it is still hvga resolution, therefore not worth upgrading from OV.
what is VM/Sprint thinking?? seriously..are they trying to sway people away from VM? That Venture phone came out weeks ago, and will probably be discontinued in a few months, because apparently everybody has already forgotten about it. Now this?
I mean I'm fairly happy with my Triumph, so I have no complaints, but from a business perspective, VM really NEEDS a phone like the rumored Evo, soon, because cheap-plan or not, many people are going to migrate to another provider if they keep releasing junk.
Did I read it right? 50GB of memory out of the box? That would be a pretty good step up from the V, Slider, and the intercept.
Steve Jobs said 3.5" is perfect. Quell thine dissent, infidel.
I can count all the good Android phones on Boost with one finger. Marquee. Maybe the Transform. And it's expensive and has less of a dev community than the Triumph used to.
* The Replenish was considered bad back when Sprint sold it. They told me so
* The Prevail was a more expensive copycat of the Optimus.
* The Warp proved you can't just throw big specs into a phone case and make something good.
* Heck, even the Transform Ultra was pretty pricey for a slightly larger screen than an Optimus Slider, and I've seen the Slider at $130-150.
