Can't say anything about Vancouver but here in Mississauga sometimes I have to try multiple times and wait until the calls connects (it's a long awkward pause).

Normally I don't have much difficulty making an outgoing call on Mobilicity, and even during the riots I could get through fine. This year, not so good, I have to try 3-4 times to get through, which I suppose could be on my end or on the receiving end, but if it were the latter I'd get an all circuits are busy message (I would presume). I'm once again considering switching back to Wind.
So how did Wind hold up?
The word 'Pentaband' means '5 Bands', from the Greek word 'pente' meaning '5'. For a phone to be pentaband it has to support 5 bands. If the phone has AWS support, it doesn't automatically mean that it is pentaband. The reason Wind and Mobilicity users like pentaband phones is because the reverse is true. We're not the only ones who like pentaband phones though, so please stop referring to phones that work on Wind and Mobilicity as pentaband. It causes unnecessary cofusion.

Nevermind Bell.. LTE is fine.
I don't remember any particular problems but I was too drunk and sad about the Canucks losing to care lol. If they lose today, you won't have anymore problems for the year!
Yep, I was at Canadian agriculture show and for the whole day I wasn't able to make a call.
We went to the Canucks game last Sunday, and while I did not make a call, I used data a lot for Facebook updates and photos and sending MMS.
A friend that was with me uses Virgin, and he did the same, but his data was just terrible compared to mine on Wind.
We both have similar Galaxy Nexus phones (his with stock 4.0.1 and mine with CM9) and mine was sure a lot better.
Mind you, a couple of weeks ago we were in Las Vegas, and using T-Mobile high speed. On the weekends it was virtually impossible to use the data - everything was so slow and hardly working.
I am going to Canucks game 5 tomorrow - so I will be able to see if it works again.
Look forward to hearing the results.

I often have problems placing outgoing calls on both my Galaxy Nexus and our Panache, and it doesn't even have to be during a playoff game.
I hit send, the phone beeps, and it's back to the dialer... When it occurs it's usually 3-4 times in a row before the call actually completes. Definitely a Wind issue, as I never had this particular issue with Mobilicity.
Also, I miss a LOT of calls. I mean a LOT. Seems like 25% of the time when people call me, my phone never rings... but a minute later I get the missed call test. Pretty damn annoying since I'm usually in good reception areas.
Robellusilicity Screw You
I'm having the opposite experience. When I had my HD2, I'd get the missed call notifications yet never hear the phone ring frequently. However ever since I switched to the Galaxy Nexus, the problem seems to have gone away. I'm assuming it's the phone but maybe, just maybe, Wind fixed the issue in my area.
It happens to me across multiple devices on Wind, but I don't recall it being an issue when I was with Mobilicity. (Not that Mobilicity doesn't suck in 1000 other ways, I'm just saying...)
