    Seems they realy aren't sure:

Microsoft would be crazy not to update the older phones as that would take away the whole advantage they have over Android with their control over both HW and SW.
Seems the iPhone is still the only way to go if you want full 2-3year guaranteed OS updates in a timely manner without questioning whether or not you'll get updates.
Hopefuly WP's mod community will begin making ROMs if this is true.

Most WPs can't even be modded. ChevronWP7 is dead, and it's doubtful if anyone else wants to try.

The word 'Pentaband' means '5 Bands', from the Greek word 'pente' meaning '5'. For a phone to be pentaband it has to support 5 bands. If the phone has AWS support, it doesn't automatically mean that it is pentaband. The reason Wind and Mobilicity users like pentaband phones is because the reverse is true. We're not the only ones who like pentaband phones though, so please stop referring to phones that work on Wind and Mobilicity as pentaband. It causes unnecessary cofusion.

I was following this on theverge. First it was said they will all get it. Then none but the new wp8 apollo phones would get it. Now there are articles saying that there have been sightings of the 610 already running a beta of apollo. Best guess, this is all speculation and a waste of time until we hear something official.

According to Paul Thurrott none of the current WPs will get WP8:

Microsoft really need to just make an official statement and put an end to all this.

Interesting point brought up on a different site. How do we know Apollo is WP8? Everyone has been assuming that, but given it's the end of the roadmap, it's possible it's just the final major update to WP7. So we could see current phones running Apollo but not getting WP8.

I think that is wishful thinking but unlikely. Windows 8 Phones are supposed to come out later this year and that is what they are testing now. Only thing before that is Tango.

Anyway, today's rumor is that somebody in South Africa was told that the Titan and Lumia 900 will not launching until after Windows 8 is release. If this is true, what does it mean? Does it mean that the Titan and Lumia 900 will be loaded an sold with Windows 8? Or, does it mean that Microsoft will be selling both the new Windows 8 Phones & the old Windows 7 Phones at the same time? Hence, is Windows 8 targeted at the high-end market while Windows 7 is targeted at the low-end/emerging market?

Who knows if anybody is knows anything or is telling the truth. It does however keep this topic hot as people keep talking about it.
