Metro will not buy any Spectrum

MetroPCS will not buy anymore Spectrum their footprint is already the same as their largest competitors because of their free roaming agreements with Sprint and Leap/Cricket Wireless. Why would they spend anymore money when they will not expand their footprint? They want a buyer because their creator Roger Linquist's plan was to become #1 and now realizes that he can't and the beast has become so large that he can not control mismanagement and other problems that may cost them their IPO.

Because the LTE is not working like they originally were told by Ericsson and the VOIP for the voice end has still not worked to the point of being able to sell phones. Any store personell will tell you the 3G EVDO phones are working data faster than the 4G phones.

But that "footprint" is mostly for 1x CDMA. Sprint's nationwide roaming agreement with Metro is only for 1x.

Plus, "in market" no roaming agreements work. Roaming is for out of market. In market, Metro is pushing LTE signal through narrow bands. Verizon and AT&T are using broader bands and thus get more LTE speed.

If Metro is to expand, they need more spectrum that they can run LTE on "in market" as well as better roaming agreements nationwide. No one wants to buy a phone and keep jumping from 1x to LTE and back all the time.
Your creed may be interesting, but your deeds are much more convincing.

MetroPCS also controls bandwidth of 4G LTE usage as they are limited by the licenses that they purchase from Ericsson for the amount of bandwidth that the base stations can transmit and recieve with. You can also receive info from dealers that let you know that the 3G EVDO phones are actually working faster and better than the 4G LTE service is.
