Keep calling support and ask for escalation and updates. Eventually, they will actually assign it to a tech who will try to close the ticket without fixing anything. When that happens, ask that the ticket NOT be closed without your OK. That may get them going because they lie to senior management and by closing tickets without fixing anything, they look good. The last thing the techs want is a report to senior management that a ticket is open for X weeks. Then all hell breaks loose so they MAY actually work your ticket.
