    Does 7.5 have voice-guided GPS?

Coming from Android, this is one of the features Android has an edge over its competitors. I read something about Bing Map having the same capability as well, but not sure if it's the same. Since I will sign up for straight talk with Titan, I don't think the AT&T navigator app will work for me.

Nokia, owner of Navteq, ported their Maps and Drive to WP so the 900/800/710 should have it. It should also have the ability to preload the maps to save on data but I haven't verified this (yet).

I have the 710 and it is a nice feature. I do miss that it does not pronounce the streets like a full fledge gps. I never had an Android so I don't know it that pronounces either.

My mistake. It sounded like you were planning to buy a Titan.

Google Map on Android does pronounce the street name. It's pretty much a full-fledged GPS system.

The GPS on iOS, unless you buy a 3rd party app, is just Google Map showing you direction without voice.

So I take it that on HTC Titan, it's more like iOS than Android?

I think it will only speak when you veer off course because they didn't have a patent for it.

Nokia has the patents with NavTeq which comes stock on the new Nokias and they are going to supposedly share the technology with the other manufacturers eventually as part of the deal with Microsoft.

HTC phones get HTC locations, which is an offline+voice GPS.

Thanks for the HTC location suggestion. To download offline map, it charges a fee?

    Yes.
Navigation with voice directions is built into OS.

It is on my Samsung Focuses (one from AT&T, one from Rogers). Nokia has a new more specialized app as well. Sounds like AT&T and HTC do as well.
But its in Bing Maps integrated.
