multiple handsets at home with a cell phone

At home it's kind of nice for a couple of us to be on the phone at once. We only have one cell phone but if we were to get rid of the home phone then is there a way that we could have multiple handsets while at home that ran off our cell phone?

Maybe not the most convenient but perhaps most obvious would be to drop the sim into some sort of 'cell phone capable' base station with multiple handsets (ideally even to our wired phones).

Does a product like this exist?
Is there any way to do it without having to swap out the sim?

If your cell phone has Bluetooth there are standard telephones now that support a link to the cell phone in addition to the home line. I have a set myself. The prices listed on Best Buy range from $70 to $299 depending on the telephone type and number of extension sets. I got mine from Best Buy but if you do some research you could probably get a better deal from another merchant or Amazon. The model I have is no longer available but there are plenty of others.

    Hope this helps.

That does help, thanks. I'll head into Best Buy to get details
