Hi guys, just set up a Galaxy Nexus and have been using it for the past week. I was coming from a Blackberry 9900 with 200MB Simple Blackberry data plan.
Phone is working great so far, but I noticed when I log into my.t-mobile.com, "data" shows 0MB used. The snippet of data usage does show my data usage for the past 10 records or so. But clicking on "Data" says the information is unavailable to display once the page refreshes and it is empty.
If I put my SIM back into my Blackberry, it shows 180+MB used, along with detailed Data usage when I click on the Data usage link and the page refreshes.
At some point, I had talked a T-mobile rep who told me that I would have to call them and tell them to change my data plan to an "Android" data type if I ever switched to an Android device, or my data would not work at all. But with the Galaxy Nexus, data is working perfectly and I never called them to change the type from the Blackberry.
I guess I'm wondering if T-Mobile will eventually rectify this issue and be able to calculate my data usage again or not. Or what happens if I hit 200MBs (I believe my plan is a hard stop at 200MBs and not an "unlimited" throttle plan)
Anyone else with a Galaxy Nexus seeing the same thing as me?
TIA.
ok, so I chatted up T-Mobile on an unrelated issue and asked them about my current data usage and they were able to tell me exactly hos much I had used. Seems like a glitch on my.t-mobile.com that is not able to display the data usage properly. I guess I might as well switch to an "Android" device type at some point once I am certain I am leaving the Blackberry behind.
