Selling my Sharp 005SH: I've used it for six months but with great care and the phone is in near mint condition (9/10), screen protector applied on day one (plus a protector on the camera lens). There is a 0.5 mm dent on the metal rim on the right hand side of the phone, which is hardly visible, and there are a coule of tiny hairline scratches on the Galapagos logo on the back - you need to look at both from a distance of 10 cm to spot them.
The 005SH has a great QWERTY slide-out keyboard, a 3.8-inch 800 x 480 px screen - 3D capable! Read more about it here: http://sharp.cheeseus.org/index.php?page=Devlist&id=44
I did not manage to apply the screen protector perfectly, so there are a few "bubbles" on the sides and a couple of tiny specs on it - not on the display! - but all these are invisible once the display lights up. The screen protector is the ASDEC hard matte type (NF-005SH), which feels fantastic to touch and leaves no fingerprints. It costs about $10 USD, incl. delivery to Japan --- beside the one already attached on the phone, I will add a used one and a brand new protector. The great thing about this type of protector is you can remove it, wash it in warm water, dry it and repply it, which is why I am also sending the one (for practicing).
The phone comes with a 16 GB microSD card, which I will load with full length 3D films of your choice - I will give you a list of 10 titles and you can choose from them (1.2-1.9 GB each). It will also come with several "paid" apps that you can get rid of or use.
This 005SH has been upgraded to Android 2.3.4, Build number S4050. The difference from the Android 2.2 version is better battery management and the ability to watch 3D videos off YouTube directly (no need to save and upload to your PC like on v.2.2), among others.
This 005SH has been multimedia unlocked by SoftBank - this means that you can use everything on it (minus calls/SMS/carrier data) even without a SIM card.
I will also add a HYPERSIM that you will need to attach to your SIM card in order to use it as a phone - GPRS/EDGE carrier data only, in 3G incoming calls don't work, so if 3G internet isn't your top priority, this should suit you just fine. This hypersim is pretty stable and manages to auto regain signal in most cases: in the town where I live, I travel everyday a distance of 4-8 km, switching towers and I have no signal issues. The most recent "serious" test was when I went on a 240 km trip - during the first 200 km the phone did lose signal several times but auto regained it as soon as within reach. But after the third 1 km tunnel, it lost signal. This means that you might need to CPR your SIM card from time to time on a normal phone but I think the hypersim sort of "learns" the cell towers you use most of the time and "adjusts". The hypersim costs $13 USD (plus $4-5 for delivery). Read about it here: http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...WORKS-on-005SH!
As you can see from the photos, the phone also comes with a tailor made genuine leather pouch (it would cost you not less than $20-25 USD to make or buy a similar one).
The phone is still under guarantee by SoftBank, so if anything should happen, you could ask someone in Japan to assist you in repairs - or ask the person who has been helping me, for a commission of course, if he will consent.
I have also successfully managed to gain temporary root to the phone and have disabled 11 (eleven) SoftBank bloatware apps that either run all the time or launch automatically every now and then, taking up RAM. You can read about this and how to re-enable these apps here: http://sharp.cheeseus.org/index.php?page=How2s&id=44
I have performed full data reset on the phone, so it will come with more than 220-250 MB of on-board memory (has 110 MB originally). This means that some of the preinstalled apps/games are not available - but fear not! We have managed to successfully extract then and have confirmed that they can be reinstalled, so you can easily get the specially designed 3D BIOHAZARD game etc. from download links I will provide.
My asking price is $450 USD, and this includes: the 005SH phone, 16 GB microSD with cool 3D films, hypersim, tailor made genuine leather pouch, three screen protectors (one applied), guarantee card, and FREE registered express shipping to anywhere around the world (costs me about $10-$12 USD). This type of shipping takes max. 15 days to arrive and is trackable. This is not EMS, if you want EMS you'll need to pay the difference of about $10 more.
Payment is accepted va PayPal or via bank transfer (if your bank will not charge you that much, for instance bank transfers within the EU only cost 7 EUR, which is less than what PayPal will charge you for an amount of this size. If you want, we can do the transaction via Ebay, but the price will be slioghtly higher to reflect the nearly 10% seller fee Ebay will charge me.
PM me if you need any further information.
