    LTE iPad, no personal hotspot

I have a new iPad on the $10 tablet sharing plan. I just noticed that the 'Personal Hotspot' feature is greyed out. Is that normal, or did Bell screw up my provisioning again?

I activated a new iPad on the Flex plan and the "Personal Hotspot" feature is available and working. I am planning on switching to the $10 tablet sharing plan before the $30/6gb data add on for iPhone expires. Anybody have a different experience from OP?

The greyed out "Personal Hotspot" in settings is showing your status. You still need to go to the general, network option to turn "Personal Hotspot" on or off. I had a greyed out setting and think the OP had the same situation.

I think it's actually a software bug of some kind. I had LTE on all day, and the Personal Hotspot option wasn't grayed out anymore!

Then I turned off LTE, Personal Hotspot was still available until I tapped on it, and now... it's greyed out. Turn LTE back on, and it's staying greyed out.

Kill the 'Settings' app, reopen it, and boom, Personal Hotspot is back.

Perhaps the next iOS version will fix this...
