Got the 8GB warning today. Found it odd, seeing as I had just passed a billing date and my on-phone app says 1.5GB used.
Chatted with MTS - apparently that message was sent out (in error) to approximately 50% of their HSPA customers!
So no worries!

I got it too and noticed the MTS website went off line right after it went out. Also received a text telling me to ignore the previous text.
Yep got it too along with an apology afterwards.
No biggie.
In Grand Rapids and getting 0.11Mbps down and 0.2Mbps up. Hopefully MTS isn't "accidentally" throttling me like the text message was accidental. Here until Friday so hopefully this is not normal for data speeds here. I got one text saying I was over ten gig and would be throttled. Then less then a minute later got a text saying I was over 8 gig and would be throttled when I get over ten.

I always say its a good idea to track your data month to month and take screenshots just in case they throttle you, or just in case they send you a huge bill by mistake.
