I looked at several non-Samsung sites earlier and all had the same incorrect dimensions.
I tried Samsung (and all three names/numbers) but it always said not found.
I wish they had one site and didn't use some many names/numbers for the same device.
You mean a rubber case like the ones HSN included?
I cannot tell if the ones in the links you posted are the soft bendable rubber or if they are hard plastic with a thin rubber layer sprayed on. I don't want the hard plastic with rubber type. That seller does not appear to sell black .
If anyone orders one, please let us know what type of material it really is - hard or soft.
Not sure if it's as soft as you want or not. They do show them in black in the listing, but I don't see a separate listing for it.
I'm pretty sure these are soft and are black (based on the picture in the second listing).
Just a bit over you $5 price.
Same company make a hard cover and it looks a bit different (not the ends)
Now, if you wanted to sell them on ebay, you can find lots of designs.
Minimum orders of 200-500
for example: http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/s5270-gel-case.html
These look interesting
I might buy one if I can find a good price on one.
I think it would help with the button being pressed even when locked and not muffle the ringer like my pouch does.
Those having problems with FB, how are you accessing the site?
I just tried with the FB app and can view pictures fine. No option to save them though.
If using the app, what version? I have v2.9.1 (H/230.p1)
Tried with the built-in browser. Clicked on "View Full Size" picture downloaded and opened in the photo viewer just fine. It downloaded as a 720x405 image. Tried a 2048x1536 image (567KB) and it won't open on the phone.
Meanwhile 1600x1200 images that are nearly 700KB will, so it looks to be a max resolution problem, not file size.
The same 2048x1536 photo, using Opera Mini 7, loads in opera, not the external viewer. It loads fine. Also it's resized at first to a 173K file. I could save it locally, but I don't know where Opera saved it to. It's accessible through opera, but I can't find it using MyFolder.
I can access Facebook on Opera Mini 7 and the images will load and I can save them, but when I try to view them it gives the "unsupported file type" if they are bigger than 640x480. The same thing happens in the built in browser and in the Facebook app V2.9.1. In other words...I cannot view any photo that is bigger than 640x480 after it has been downloaded.
If it's a max resolution problem how do I fix it?
When I download a photo using Opera Mini it saves the photo on the phone (not my memory card) in the "images" or "pictures" folder.
Thanks for the help!
I cannot get ANY games/apps to work on this phone, I download to microsd on pc then put card in phone, install(yes they are all unsigned), but when I try to play, it always says"java error no memory available". This happens with every game(about 6) I have tried to install and play. I noticed a lot of ppl having the same problem with the chat 527 (s5270). Also read some one say they must be signed to play/use them. Any ideas how to solve this or get signed versions without paying with mins?
Can't transfer them directly to the card, use USB, or Bluetooth.
It has to be downloaded with the phone. And it looks like it needs a special server configuration because I put a few on a webserver and it still wouldn't install them.
Most apps you can download and install using wi-fi from a properly configured server, but I've had a few that wouldn't work that way, but worked fin using the cell network.
(Have to set the server to use the correct MIME type and I'm not sure how to set that on the server I used).
That load the picture in Opera and I can zoom and scroll on the image.
If I go to a friends photos it work the same way.
If it's a shared photo from someone that isn't a friend, it downloads the image and won't display it.
(Or a photo posted by a page that I "liked" but doesn't have "friends")
So it's sort of hit and miss. Not sure why.
