Try Nokia 2690, that's the one I use and what works on that model usually works with our phones. Good luck.

    left soft key:
one press = . (decimal point)
two presses = ( (open parenthesis)
and three = ) (close parenthesis)

Right soft key is back (normal menu function)

    For editing:
    * (same key as Z) is cursor left
    # (same key as B) is cursor right
backspace (under the P key) works to delete entries.

Yes, left soft key. Sure would have been easier to use the "period" button at the bottom. Thanks.

I have used some of the games that I downloaded for my LG 900G. The only problem I have seen is that the keys don't match up for some games. For example, if you need to use the #5 key, it ends up being the #6 key. It seems like the keys are shifted to the right one spot. This may not be the case for all games. Also, I did notice that some games do use the navigation key.

I did some digging around and found that the Samsung Chat 527 (GT-S5270) is very similar in appearance to the S390G. Might be useful for getting accessories for this phone.

Yeah, to answer your question, mine did the exact same thing the other day. Exact same error message. Had the phone for a couple weeks and placed the SD card in for the first time and everything was still fine until I clicked on some file that was on the SD card. Error message popped up saying FILE NOT SUPPORTED. A couple seconds later the same black screen with yellow text that's shown in your picture showed up on my phone, and a second or two after that, my phone automatically rebooted/restarted itself.
that's the only time I've had that happen, so far, so I won't be too concerned just yet. It hasn't been an issue for me since it only happened once, but I've only had the phone for two weeks, so I'll update if it changes. Phone has worked good, besides that, and I even clicked on the same card file a few times just to see if the phone would do that again, but so far, it's acting fine again.
I can also say for sure that just about every phone I've had, especially Tracfones and Net10 phones, have had a tendency to freeze up every now and then, so I wouldn't know if that's a normal type of electronic quirk for this particular phone or not.
Also, the LG 900 I had until recently seemed to act a bit slower and less responsive once I inserted the SD card for the first time. I've had the same SD card in several other phones so I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with the card. I'm thinking it just may have been this phones way of reacting to that particular card for the first time. Not sure if that would make much sense to ya, but it's just one of my theories.
I'd be interested to know whether or not you might have noticed any changes vs. with/without your card inserted.

Sorry for any confusion. I'm new to this thread, but I've been keeping up on it for a couple weeks. My above post is a reply to John who wanted to know if anyone else experienced the same error message he showed us.

Anytime a card is inserted, the phone (well the S390G anyway) scans the card for music and other content.
It will freeze up for a few seconds while it does that.

The SD card icon starts out black, then after the scan finishes it turns white.

It also does it when you disconnect from USB, as it scans the card for changes.

I haven't noticed any issues (hangs, slowdowns, crashes, etc) other than that.

So nobody has the huge min consumption thing fixed? I am going round with Tracfone, HSN, and some wireless middle man number they are making me call to try and get the 1500 promotional minutes. Only 600 went on the phone so I have spent HOURS calling and getting nowhere. Such a huge hassle. Not only that but the fact that this thing takes 10-20 mins off to send a picture message or even more if I get on the internet for a min or two is just a joke. HSN told me I can return this phone and the replacement phone up till 8/29. and that looks like what I am going to have to do.
Dealing with tracfone and these other problems is the biggest hassle EVER. Just not worth it when there are other much better companies out there.

I've found that it is best to not use TracFones 800#. The moderators on the TracFone forum and the TracFone Facebook page are faster and courteous in their help. YMMV

When the situation is complicated, you have to call 305-715-6500 (best) or 800-876-5753. The regular mods do not have the ability to make repairs. They do only routine programmed stuff, that is all they can understand. I have found the Forum and Facebook to be useless, because I always seem to have a phone problem that needs advanced assistance. Sometimes, the mods don't even respond, and then their unread mail goes to another mod and you are always starting over.

I have been very pleased with the phone so far; however, when I insert a mini SD card into the phone (4gb), it doesn't get recognized. That is, I can't access the files on it. Has anyone had a similar experience? The card is new, and works on my Mac ok. Appreciate any thoughts!
