iPhone at subsidized price but no phone number?

So I went into a store today and bought and iphone 4s 16gb for 200 and told them i wanted to activate at home. Get home and call customer service and they say no line was ever added? How was this possible? Am i legit to go ahead and start a new month-to-month contract and upgrade when the new iphone comes out? Unsure.

Just call your concession line manager and have them put it on your account.

Sounds like you just had yourself a lucky day! I once took advantage of a BOGO deal and ended up returning one phone (the one I paid for) and didnt end up having to pay for the one I got for free. Sometimes you just luck out!
