Good stuff... Its possible cause they have to write the meid to program it in the first place, you'll get it.... :-)

I suppose it could be done, but working on phones isn't my 9 to 5 job so I'm not sure someone would want to be standing by their computer until I'm ready to work on their phone, lol.

Really, the easiest thing is if I can get my hands on the actual phone. I've been watching eBay and CL...

no problem at all, I know you are always busy, and dont always have time to play with phone.apk's, but was hoping you still had the Evo to play around with.

new to the forum but been lurking for a while and was wondering if there was any update on the ICS patched phone.apk for the evo 3d? or if you have instructions on how to and what to edit the code to make it work that would be awesome to. thanks for all you have done so far.

me too i'm running meanromICSv2.4 flash to metropcs the only thing not working is the VM thanks in advance if you can help

Yeah, it appears Sprint got off their butt and released official ICS for both the Epic Touch and the Evo 3D. As I posted earlier, the big hold up has been that my latest project was trying to get a working MEID repair solution for the iPhone 4. The details of that should probably be posted in another thread (if there's any point to starting one - I just hit one roadblock after another).

I think I've spent enough time trying to "ice skate uphill" (iPhones are irritating due to the absurd amount of security everything has) and I'm going to work on the Evo 3D ICS fix first, and then the Epic Touch. Again, to the people offering to let me remote desktop to their EVO LTE, I appreciate the offers but I need to physically have a phone in my possession to develop a working fix.

If you still have access to the OG Evo 4g, and if its not too much trouble, could you please fix the phone.apk in the new 5.07.651.1 rom when you get a chance?

I would like to thank you for all your hard work. Your modified phone apk was perfect for my Evo 3D. I'm very happy to read that you will start work on the new Evo 3D ICS apk. I have not updated my phone hoping you had not changed your mind...

cant wait for the fix. the other files worked great so ive been told. i hvanet ran a gb rom in about 6 months or so. subscribed

I don't know if this might help but before the official ICS came out for the Evo 3D my voicemail notification actually worked on a virgin mobile based ics rom. Now that the official ICS for Sprint has come out however, it no longer works and all the roms have been updated to it and I can't find an older virgin mobile one to get the phone.apk from it :/ kind of wish I kept my old rom to try it out lol

are u talking stock or whatnot? cause i used booster shot ics, viperrom ics and meanrom ics all before the official leak and it never worked for me. but i will try a stock one from the leak
