Bump - since editing a post doesn't seem to bump the thread.

The framework patch is actually pretty trivial to implement. If you can post the framework.jar from the ROM you're using I'll go ahead and patch it. Thanks.

Hope this works. It's too big to attach to a message so I signed up for one of those free file sharing things...

So far, so good. The power menu works and I haven't noticed any odd problems so far.

Thanks simply don't seem adequate, this is awesome.

let me preface this by saying that I am a complete noob when it comes to things like this. I have tried almost everything to get the native voice mail app to work. this is my work phone so i can not de=send it off to be done. I had my wifes evo 4g and my evo 3d flashed to work on boost mobile. that all seems to be working fine. the voicemail no. I really need to get this or something else to work in its place. all of this programming stuff is way over my head and so far i can not get my phone through any of the processes without complications. I have tried the apps and cant even get those to work as nowhere on my phone or settings allows me to forward missed calls to another number and not in voicemail either. I am hoping someone respected may remote in and get this done as I have now wasted the last 13 hours accomplishing nothing.

    Thanks in advance

For the Epic? If you can post it on a filesharing site, I'll go ahead and mod it. Also, you're handy with apktool, the patch is a simple swap out of two of the smali files. I've posted them here for any ROM developers who want to make their Epic 4G ROM compatible with my patched Phone.apk. It should have no negative side effects for people on Sprint.

The ability to read and understand decompiled dex code. That's it, in a nutshell.

Thanks gotanmp3, I figured I was in the right place, I was under the impression that I needed to decompile the framework.jar first then work from there, I understand now im bout to give it shot!

Thank you for your work. Just wonder to know if you can patch Phone.apk for EVO 4G LTE?
If yes, which apk except phone.apk you will need?
    Thank you in advanced

I'm waiting for a new battery for my Optimus S to show up from China. Seriously. Haven't forgotten.

Probably can. Will need access to an EVO 4G LTE for development though and I don't see that happening anytime soon. I wasn't even aware people were flashing that phone already.
