iPhone 4 Settings

Can anyone help me with my iPhone 4 settings for UMB tethering? I have been trying to make this work between my iPhone 4 and Blackberry Playbook. The Playbook can connect to the personal hotspot, but it cannot connect to the internet.

A step by step will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I am on Petro Canada Mobility and with Android but, I can use my android as a wifi hotspot and connect to that with my playbook. I had to enter in proxy info on the playbook. Here is how you do it:

Connect to your personal hotspot.
On the home screen, swipe down from the top frame.
Tap Wi-Fi, select your AP and select advanced tab.
Check the “Use HTTP Proxy”
Proxy server: 10.128.1.69
Proxy Port: 80
Username: wapuser1
Password: wap


That should do it.
