It will be nice not having to constantly delete stuff on the phone to have enough rooms for the few apps i use, lol. But the prevail was low cost and did it's job, so i can't complain much

Depending on your requirements maybe, but no shrinkage on VM. It's only 10.00 for the Hot Spot option also vs 15 on VM.

Maybe ICS will improve its performance and personally I like the 4.0" screen better.

just tested htc today, not only it has GSM SIM slot, face unlocking and 4G Speed up to 11 mbp in chicago area, the phone is absolutely gorgeous.

picked up the evo today from radioshack. they had 3 in stock. its a HUGE improvement from the marquee. even though i dont have 4g in my area i couldnt stand the marquee any more. the screen, camera quality, and speed just blows the marquee away. i must say im impressed and pretty happy.Yup, it is... but think about the cost savings with Boost vs. VM. ^ Glad you like it! I agree with you - I got mine yesterday and what an improvement over the prevail! The speed alone is awesome. And having a lot of internal memory is so nice. No more deleting things to get a few MB back on the prevail, lol

What kinda of speeds are you guys getting on Boost using the Evo Design? Can any of yall run a speed test and post here.
Ive searched quite a few places, and i havent been able to find any. Just trying to see what kinda speeds on Average Boost is currently getting on their Wimax network.

unfortunately i dont get 4g in my area but the phone itself on 3g is a huge improvement

the closest 4g to me is about ~15 miles away. Next time I'm in that area, I'll test it. 3g seems comparable to what i had on the prevail. It may be perceived as faster thanks to the phone being faster (quicker to process webpages, install apps, multitask, etc).
The antenna in this phone seems stronger. It gets better signal than i am used to - not night/day difference, but i notice an extra bar on average at home/office and it seems to hold the the signal better.
With 3G and only 3 bars, i am getting 956kb down; 413kb up. Not bad for 3 bars! (tested with speedtest.net app)

what are they comparing to to when they say its terrible? coming from the marquee which had a pathetic battery life its much better than that.
