    nope, 4G is off.

And just to clarify, I'm perfectly happy with that battery life. I charge my phone all the time, so it's not a big deal. Just posted it as a real life comparison for anyone interested

Where? It is not available on the website. Are you sure it is the Design for Boost? They also sell the one for Sprint, if you go to the store.

Might want to check your Walmart and see if they have it for that price as well! I think my local Wally made a mistake and looks like nobody has bought any of the stock they put out yet!

Wow! I still think it might be a pricing error. This must be below cost. One of the Wal-Marts near my area they has it for $286.88. Snatch it while you can! Btw, can you provide any location info?

Edit: I see that you replied while I was typing mine. It seems that we agree.

Overseas travel would be much more pain free since I wont have to carry a second (gsm) phone with me...
I have tried both a T-Mobile and an at&t sim and no signal is received. My friend had an experimental non-US access point and the phone was able to see it. So they must have blocked the US bands. Also, when I tried to switch mode without the sim I got the notice shown in the attached screenshot.

You should be able to use the phone overseas as indicated by the phone's user guide on Boost's website. http://support.boostmobile.com/user_..._evodesign.pdf

Exactly. The last devices I am aware that you could do this on were the older Blackberries like the Tour and Bold.
They are not going to sell a phone so it can be used on other carriers if they can help it.

Thank you so much Haris163. That was some serious detective work by you. I read some of what you're saying online. Apparently US based cell carriers are blocked. But never matter. I'll get it for overseas. Thanks again.

@ ThaKizzle: You should've bought two at that price! Are they still the same? If they are we need to get in touch. Do you accept paypal?

My local Wal-Mart had them at $186 but when you ring it up, it shows up as $286.
