I hate to say "it's coming," but WP8 should be implementing SD card support. Whether or not it becomes part of the file system permanently once installed (like on the Focus) isn't yet clear.

The keyboard is actually darn good as it is, especially on bigger screens. I think of the numbers being like the Alt key on BBs.

Ahh, PLAN is the notification thing...I'd heard of it, but didn't know the name, thanks. I assume there's a thread elsewhere on the forum about it, but I'm on the fence. I do keep my GPS off when not in use not only for battery life But I don't wear a tinfoil hat at the same time.
    The definition of irony...

    LOL

when microsoft and nokia have to pay developers to force them to develop for it (rather than devs willingly developing for it. basically because VCs and devs are not at all confident about it's future), then things dont look at all rosy for it

No one is claiming that windows phone is doing well. These straw-men tactics are annoying.

I don't think you understand my point, let me see if I can make it clear; you admit that you have zero first hand experience using a windows phone, and your comments rely on the opinions of others who may have first hand experience. Basically you're little more than an RSS feed of negative windows phone news.

I suggest you gain some first hand experience, and stop parroting the options of others if you want to gain credibility.

how difficult is that to understand???
the poor sales and the fact that nobody ever goes into a shop and asks for a WP despite it being an ultra well known brand says it all
So rely on everyone who hates Microsoft as your basis of hating WP7?

Yet multiple posts have clearly said the reason why people don't ask for WP7 devices. You cling to this argument because you have nothing else.

Polls? So if it isn't popular, it is garbage?
How is it that we give up houses, businesses and bank accounts when we want a divorce but can't part with a couple of hundred bucks to find cellphone bliss?

in's not just them. both microsoft and windows are well known brands in the mobile sector, WP has been out several years, yet sales are poor and there is no interest in it. what does that tell you about how well the brand is liked by the general public(and not just the huge huge huge huge huge number who can't stand microsoft)?

i've never mentioned polls. WP is featureless

The fact of the matter is, GeminiIII is one of those retarded Spamdroid fanboys who thinks he can go into any Windows Phone thread and talk crap about Windows Phone and Microsoft. Just stay in your Spamdroid forums and leave Windows Phone users alone!
Backwards, eh? This is the Windows "forum" to discuss pros AND cons. Not Windows "clique" though some may think of it as such. Disparagement of MS, especially factual, is hardly an insult to anyone here. This is Howard Forum also; report anyone you think is breaking the rules including me. You can always ignore trolls and not stoop to their level.

Many reports are out saying reps are not pushing the WP7 devices. Reports are also out that say many (maybe not most, but lots) of people don't know about WP7. Is it not possible that people don't know about the various WP7 devices? Or just because Microsoft has been around since the 1980's that everyone on the planet knows they are putting out a new mobile OS? I'm the first to say, the marketing for all WP7 devices belong in the sewer, because it is *poop*.

Featureless? WP7 is so featureless you've never used it.

On a better note today, to everyone who is not trolling, stayed in an ATT store today for about 40 minutes on a Lumia 900 and Titan 2. Very nice. A rep came up to me and asked if I was planning to buy anything in the store.

Yes, I agree this is the Windows Phone "forum"; a community of Windows Phone users to discuss pros and cons of the Windows Phone OS. If you have an issue and you come here and discuss it with fellow WP users, that's a wonderful thing. There's a couple of things I don't like about the OS and I come here to discuss them in a civilized manner with my fellow WP users. As you may have already noticed, I despise Google and Spamdroid, but you will never find that I went into the Spamdroid forum to bash the ugly and laggy OS, the deceitful corporation called Google, or some of its childish users (and no, I have never used a Spamdroid device nor will I ever but that's OK, according to GeminiIII, because I read it here: link). When you make it a point to come and discuss something rationally, that's fine. But when you make it a point to constantly bash or show hate for other people's choice of OS, the OS's developer, the OS's hardware manufacturers, etc., every single chance you get in every other thread - as does GeminiIII, who actually seems to make it his life to do so - then you're childish and you have severe mental issues. Not to mention that it gets irritating after a while to Windows Phone users who truly enjoy using the product. Windows Phone users have chosen to use this OS because we find the pros outweigh the cons. We don't need children like him/her to link articles on how Nokia should have went with Spamdroid if it wants to survive, or that Nokia is being sued because a lawyer believes Nokia might have deceived shareholders, or an article that WP only has a 0.00005% market share, or that 99.99999% of Earth's population hates Microsoft and uses a Windows desktop OS because they are forced to. We don't care!

I personally don't care for anyone being banned and I won't report anyone because I actually have a tiny bit of faith that one day these people will actually grow a brain. But in the mean time I have no shame in calling them out on their stupidity. If you're retarded, I'm going to let you know.

Thirdly, what were the dates of Woz's tenure since Apple's success is recent, ie what part did he play in it?
At least anecdotally there are Android/Apple users making the switch. My tech savvy son was going to go Android but is getting the Lumia. Of course, having 11,000 Zune Pass songs on his Zune predisposed him and it didn't hurt when he realized he realized he would only have to carry one device. The Xbox integration also attracted him and there's millions of Xbox users who might think about that, and many of them are kids who have yet to own their first smart phone. My wife is also giving serious consideration to switching, but she's part Finn, so there is that. I'm eager to play with it too, but I'll probably wait to replace my iPhone 4 until I see both the 5, and the next iteration of Windows. My daughter off to college just wants an iPhone like all her friends. And my younger son is just happy he'll be able to use one of the iPhones as an iPod.

As for Woz, he didn't have anything to do with iPhone but he has never ceased being an Apple employee.

I think he did like the Lumia, but I also think he likes any technology, like the movie buff that loves any film no matter how bad--although he did say Limia>Android.
