Commission When Customers Have $10 data already

Just curious, is there any commission difference from Verizon when a customer goes from $10 data to the new $30 data plans, or are we just as good selling them another basic phone? I wasnt sure if there was any profit difference.

With us, its as good as just an upgrade with no data feature. which is a huge bummer...

We get paid the normal data payout in this case. The only time we don't get paid is if they already had $29.99 unlimited or a $30 or higher tiered plan. The $10 is a totally different type of feature so we still get paid.
