Upgrade went fine. Just watching some videos to get info on all the changes. What happened to the app drawer?? It's on other versions of ICS but not Telus'?

Battery is fine but apps are hanging all the time. Not good. Should i try a full reset? Hate to have to reinstall 70 apps but i will if that will fix hanging problems. What if i want to go back to previous version of rom? Can i do that with kies or is the original
room available for download?
I'm also having a problem with my wifi signal icon, it appears but it doesn't show I have a signal. It doesn't seem to effect anything, just cosmetic. If I press the power button to turn my screen off then press it immediately to turn it back on the icon works just fine.
Anyone else notice this issue?

I was just reading an article which described similar problems as yours. Are the apps with problems on the sd card? Try moving them off; see if that helps.
Thanks for the info Steve but I don't have any apps on the sdcard and I will try clearing cache on them even if that means doing most of them. The hanging and freezing is random and effects a lot of apps. hmm
I just did it last night. The upgrade went very well. I had to re-root it again afterward. SU did give me a bit of work on it. My phone is a bit faster with ICS.
Well I am in the middle of the factory reset as I type this. I have to say I am impressed. Enter my google account and the phone promptly restores all my settings and re installs all my apps for me automatically. Just have to wait for it to finish and then see if it makes a difference.
crossing fingers
ps. one tip for a nice app is Mightytext. Syncs your computer with your phone and allows you to send and receive sms from your computer. very kewl
Did the factory reset help?
Did you have to redo all your home screens and folders?

It did help and yes I did have to redo all my screens and folders. Battery sux though
Installed, folders and shortcuts redone.
Have noticed that slot of apps seem to freeze or crash at times. My phone was more stable with 2.3.5 than Ice cream.

Well after a few days I give it a thumbs down. The factory reset went well and the auto backup restored all my apps and settings and the rest I got back with Kies. That went well but I am having problems with apps crashing, freezing and I spend 3 hours last night trying to get my bookmarks back onto the damn phone with no luck. I did it before with np but now nothing.
Worst part is battery. It sux. Get up at 6am and by lunch I am down to 30%. I am not using it that much as I am at work but it still drains. I have a battery saver app and cranked up the settings but it still drains. And yes I checked my signal strength and I have 3 to 4 bars all the time. I am lucky enough to have Telus towers close to my house and work.
Any suggestions?? I will be looking to go back to the original rom asap until this is fixed.
