What does T-Mobile's 1900Mhz deployment mean for Simple Mobile?

Does this mean soon an AT&T device will work properly with Simple Mobile?

Also what does this mean for FACTORY UNLOCKED devices that may be able to take advantage of 1900mhz(please excuse my lack of knowledge on this subject).

Lastly, yes... I am an iPhone fan. Should I go ahead an purchase a factory unlocked iPhone 4S now?

It means you will be able to get Tmobile 3G/4G (HSPA/HSPA+) speeds with phones that are compatible with the 1900mhz band instead of being stuck on EDGE.

Tmobile will not have the 1900 band deployed until the 4th Qtr (Oct-Dec) of 2012. So why buy now when you can't use it at full speed. Also the iPhone 4s will be cheaper at that time since the iPhone 5 will be out.

Finally, if you really want to use an iPhone now (without EDGE speeds) just switch over to StraightTalk's $45 plan or Red Pocket...

Can I port my Simple Mobile number to either of them? Also I've heard that MMS will not work without jail breaking. Yuck.
