This doesn't seem to be too bad of a deal IMO.

The websites up. Check it out. Never seen USCC be so aggressive on price. Should really help them with the customers they churning to Straightalk, Virgin Mobile, etc. There's going to be a lot of ripple effects from these plans.

there is a limitation on number porting between pre and post paid plans, am I right? makes switching complicated.
Does that apply since its through Walmart? I mean USCC is offering their current prepay and then this new thing...

USCC has the GS2 and Moto Electrify on their USCC branded prepay.

i like the fact that uprepaid customers can buy cards and fill online. They need to make it so all prepaid have that option. I have a tracfone and two clicks and i have new minutes.
hardees rules.
My question is, can any other U.S. Cellular or Alltel phones be activated on the u prepaid service? Im sure alot of people would love to put a delve or razr on that $40 plan
has anyone seen these phones in walmart yet ? I looked under locations on the site and both walmarts in my area said they were to get them but when i spoke to the people in the electronic dept they said they never evan heard of it and they have recived nothing on it. LOL
With a $45/mo price tag I don't think that there's a lot to complain about. That will be my next carrier since I have to leave my family plan due to the 200mb roaming cap. As a student, a 70/mo bare-bones plan you'll get on a carrier like VZW (few minutes, no messaging) can't hold a candle to 45 bucks a month with unlimited calls and messaging and about the same amount of data (consensus seems to be that Straight Talk's "unlimited" data is around 2gb). Anyhow, my only point was that not all prepaid carriers are limited to crappy phones, as long as you are willing to provide one.
Something I found interesting is that the terms and conditions are actually in relatively understandable language and pretty short compared to some. The shorter and simpler these agreements are, the more likely people are to actually read them.
