I think you're referring to the built in memory?

Official launch is Thursday but many stores already have a working SGSIII on the display floor.

Had same problem. I called the support number and when I provided my account info, the automated system offered to activate my phone. Once this happened, the in-phone activation worked perfectly.

Just came to post this. Assuming there isn't some kind of catch, this is exactly the way it should be.

Yes and a whole lot more expensive. Better to buy the verizon version and let XDA do it's thing?

Just posted a review of the S3 on phonescoop.

Nice phone, lots of top notch, first class hardware and software, Voice quality, excellent. Ergonomics... fine!

However... phone is going back tomorrow. The screen contrast and brightness in the browser and e-mail programs, LOUSY!

Dull, muted, cloudy... does not have the brightness and sharpness as in the other parts of the phone.

Reviewed the settings, power savers, et al with both VZ and Samsung tech's and they could not change the muted screen.

Samsung asked me to go back to the store and compare with other S3's and same thing... poor screen quality in browser and e-mail.

Real shame... as this could be an excellent phone. Might be for some ... and there might be a Samsung fix.

However, I've read on the earlier European reviews that the screen's brightness in certain settings are not crisp and clear like one would expect from Samsung screens.

Good luck to you all... back to the X2 for the time being for me.

I use lux app for brighter auto brightness.

Nah. I bought it for the deadline, not for the phone. Even before the lockdown surfaced I wasn't certain how I would use this SGSIII. Vzw just resolved my doubts. I'll watch a little longer to see what works...

But I'll be scanning the horizon all the while for the 'right' QWERTY.

Wonder if the FM radio works on the developer model? And will it be global enabled?

    VZW LIES!
Can there be any more doubt?
