Background: I am Wind subscriber and love the unlimited everything for $35. Unfortunately such plans are no longer available. Situation: Need to buy a phone for my retired Dad. Would be calling mostly Edmonton(local) and Calgary. Does not use Data/Txt. Needs a flip phone (maybe LG with windmobile) Question: Shall i go with wind and pay $25 and then overages for long distance or go with Chatr and have unlimited province wide. Problem is if he ends up calling long distance, Chatr might turn out to be more expensive.
you don't have unlimited province wide with chatr either if you go with the 25 and 35. It's only the orange zones in your province that you are covered for. For the 45&50 you are truly covered for province wide.
