Has anyone with the Optimus Elite received a "group text" from an iPhone user yet? If so, did the message come through? It was the iPhone/Optimus V blank text issue that sent me searching the web and eventually landed me at this forum... it would be great to hear from anyone who knows if the Optimus Elite has the same trouble. Thanks!

Out of any phone I've ever owned, this one gets the hottest if you use it while it's charging. I touched the camera lens, and it literally made me say "ow" out loud.

Other than that, definitely still loving this phone.

Badcredit, Im with u. This phone does get hot. I had to replace my original Elite, during charging and tinkering, I noted how hot it gets. Wow! No data issue like with my first elite. I also like how alot of the bloat is actually deletable. Flash works really well on wifi, kind of choppy on vm 3g. Seems to have better reception than the Ov. I think people will happy with this phone when actually released fully.

So far so good on my Elite. I havent had an overheat issue yet. Battery life is a good bit better than my OV and the flash is working like a charm. The lack of a dedicated camera button isnt a deal breaker. Camera takes pretty good shots.

I haven't noticed any overheating with my Elite. Only problem I had was with Speedtest first day I had it. It was very jerky when running download speed. I deleted it and tried another broadband speed test app was the same way and it made the phone slow down. I rebooted and deleted it, reloaded Speedtest and everything is working okay now. Could have been the router on the tower, who knows. Download speed is the same as the OV, around 200 to 350Kbps. Phone calls great audio. Streaming music from internet very good. Takes great pictures. Love the flash. MMS works fine. Waiting on a gel case to arrive, it seems almost too light. Don't even feel it in my pocket. Touch screen good sensitivety, even with the factory screen protector still on it. Lots of accessories available on ebay. Processor plenty fast... great response. Much better than OV. On board memory makes a big difference I think.

Yeah, like all of you said, the camera takes pretty great pics. And the 720p video is extremely clear with no lagging.

Here's a quick video test I made. I literally just uploaded it, so it might take a little bit for the quality to fully process.

Yes I had that problem. I took the cover off again and re-seated that corner carefully and correctly. Then I snapped the remaining 3 corners in place. That fixed it.

Had the same issue with the back corner not popping in correctly, reseating did fix it on mine as well. Wish I would've ordered from VM now that they're offering that free month. Maybe they'll give it to me when I first sign up haha.

I just got it today, and so far, so good. It doesn't get hot at all for me, and it's been charging a good 30-45 minutes. I was able to keep my $25 a month plan, as well. The camera is really nice, a big step up from the OV. It has flash, and 5MP. I took a picture in the dark to test it, and it came out crystal clear. We will see how it goes once I get more apps loaded onto it.

Does anybody else keep getting a pop-up "Error Code 104: Unable to establish a data connection" message? I've gotten it a few times each day since I bought the phobe, but today, I've gotten it about 15 times, and yesterday, maybe 5 times.

When I get it, my 3G symbal goes from green to white, and sometines the 3G symbol disappears completely, and a couple tines, service in general cuts out. But each time, it only lasts for about a minute.

I'm trying to figure out if its my phone, or if my state -MA- is having data outages(I say state, because in the past 2 days, I've been as North as NH-border, and as south as CT-border)

I got it once this morning so far. Anyone know what the deal is? Do I need to get a new phone? I do have data enabled, and wifi is on. I'm at home using the wifi, and it flashed that message.
