How do I keep a retention plan?

    Hi,

Currently have 2 mobile numbers and would like to keep them both. This is what I have currently (identical for both lines)...I only want voice, have no use for Data or text

    Base: 250 Wkday & Unlimmitted Eve/Wknd ((6pm-8am) 25.00
Savings: Monthly Plan discount -3yr -15.00
    Unlimmitted Incomming Calls 10.00
    250 Bonus Airtime Minutes 10.00
    Savings: Bonus Airtime Minutes -10.00
    50 Bonus Minutes 0.00
    100 Bonus minutes 0.00
    Call Display w/Name Display 8.00
Savings: Digital Call Display Credit -8.00
    911 Emergency Access Fee .75
    System Access Fee 6.95

At the end I pay $28.70 for Voice only.....this is what I want only.
What is the best way for me to keep everything as is without changes.....I have no prob signing up fpr 6+ years.

    Send me a private note?

    Thx

No guarantees with retentions plans once your term expires. Only way to try is to try. Depending on how far into your contract you are, you could just explain that you will sign for another 3 years if everything stays the same or you will be shopping both of your lines to other carriers.
Unlocked iPhone 5, unlocked iPhone 4
Unlimited airtime, Unlimited CAN/US long distance, Unlimited SMS to CAN/US wireless numbers
2500 Call Forwarding minutes to CAN/US numbers
    CiD, 6GB
Google Voice for visual voice mail with message transcription, conditional greetings, unlimited messages (vs 35 message cap), remote retrieval from any PC or phone, no auto-purge after 10 days and most importantly no $7-$8 charge.

Credit renewals are a very hard game right now. I've been fighting to get my credits renewed for over a month now. Probably a dozen emails with the OOP resulted in all of my generic credits being renewed, but none of the feature credits. I think all those stacked bonus minutes will be very very hard for you to get renewed.

Reps seem to have been told to inform customers that credits can not be renewed until they expire, but of course won't promise renewal at that point either. Imo, the best bet right now is to call up 30days before your contact ends, and just tell them you want to renew "all the details" of your plan for another 3 years. Calling 30 days before expiry gives you the perfect window to threaten to give notice of cancellation and take your business elsewhere (maybe say a bell corporate plan? ).

So call up retentions (directly is best imo), and just give it a shot. Try a few times if you don't have luck with the first rep.

Whatever you do, do not threaten to move to wind or mobilicity. Reps seem programmed to shutdown any negotiation at the mention of the new entrants.

Good luck. Let us know if you have any success.
